Just In: Canal+ has launched a new look for Canal+ Family and Cine+ following an 8-way agency review earlier this year with London-based devilfish securing the win. The rebrands were produced in collaboration with Daniel Eatock and the Foreign Office. The brief, part of a rejuvenation project across the 27-year old multi-platform channel, aims to boost profile and viewing figures and includes idents, stings, and new on-air furniture.
For the Canal+ Family rebrand, the idents are divided into four scenes and show two layers: a ‘real world’ layer topped by a “playful graphic layer” that represents the “creative spirit of childhood”. Cine+, Canal+’s movie platform, comprises seven channels for movie-lovers, and includes new releases, male-oriented, family-oriented and female-oriented films, as well as arthouse, ’80s and classic productions.
