Discovery Networks Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA), will begin rolling out a new rebrand and on-air look across 105 countries beginning this Monday, 29 August.
The refresh comes at the heels of a comprehensive review of channels in the Discovery portfolio, led by Discovery Networks SVP, Paul Welling. The channel will be repositioned across the region under the new strap “Life Unlimited”- which aim is to deliver a more dynamic presentation style through a more confident on-air look more in line with the aspirations of its primary 25-39 year old male audience (while still balancing the appeal of its entertainment and knowledge offer to it’s 15+ demo).
The new on-air creative was led by Discovery Networks Creative Director Stephen Royale and comprises a more energetic palette packed with faster paced graphics, new on-screen iconography, and menus that move similarly to UI seen on iPhones. I’ve had a look at a few screens – kudos to Discovery for injecting some fresh new energy and design language across such an ambitious number of territories.
