Denny Tu has 15+ years of experience as a marketer & brand strategist to US and international television networks. He has led over 150 creative, design, and branding campaigns for TV, including 360 campaign launches, promo packages, channel rebrands, brand films, and main title sequences for clients including JJ Abrams, John Wells, Brian Gadinsky, and Mark Burnett. His experience includes 5 years as an agency Senior Vice President/Creative where he led a team of 50+ creatives across broadcast, promo, new media/digital, and original music & sound design.
Denny is currently Head of Planning at BSkyB’s 300+ strong in-house creative agency, responsible for planning & strategy across Sky’s portfolio of entertainment channels (including Sky1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Living, Sky Arts, Sky Movies, and Sky 3D), Sky communication products, and priority brand campaigns.
He has served on the agency board for CTAM (Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing) as well as holding a 3-year mentorship at the American Film Institute’s Digital Content Lab. His teams have been recognized with industry distinctions including Emmy, Promax/BDA, Telly, IPA, and D&AD.
Taipei-born, Los Angeles raised- he is now based in London.
